What to prefer – Caribbean cruise or all inclusive vacation?

Hubby and I are planning to go to Caribbean for spring break, in March 2012. We cannot decide whether to go on a cruise or on an all -inclusive vacation. And where exactly in Caribbean to go?
Mexico? Dominican? Puerto Rico or some other islands?

We are in our late twenties, have never been that direction. Budget is a concern too

I want to travel but I am very independent. I would like to leave from the USA, cross the Atlantic, stop in places along the Mediterranean then maybe cruise back or fly back after a brief stay in Europe. I really have no interest in alcohol consumption right now. It seems like the reason most cruise lines want people under 21 but at least 18 to be accompanied by an older adult is because of drinking and maybe a few other things problem causing teens might do.

I want to plan a cruise for my parents who are both around 40. I want them to go somewhere warm, probably the Caribbean, but other than that I have no idea what to do. I know I will need airfare, but what things are actually included in the cruise price? I don’t want to send them on a vacation where they have to spend a lot. Basically I have no idea how to plan this. Should I go to a travel agency? I don’t want to mess this up and send them somewhere terrible. Any ideas?

i am 19 and going on a cruise to europe this summer with my parents. we have cruised before to the caribbean and i have made a lot of friends my age. however i read that its pretty much just all elderly people on european cruises. is this true?

The Disney Cruise Line’s website is closed! I’m going to take a cruise with some family next February – not sure which line, though. I was just at Disney in Florida earlier this summer and I really liked the shoppes in Downtown Disney, especially this one store with lots of art by newfound artists and features pullips dolls – which I love!

Last year in July, we were going on a 4-day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. The ship was leaving out of Galveston, Texas on July 1. Because of Hurricane Alex, we ended up having to spend a second night in Galveston. The delay upset many customers, including all of us. This was supposed to be a family reunion, but it turned into a nightmare. As of July 2, the cruise to Cozumel was canceled. They gave us letters saying that the 4-day cruise turned into a 3-day "Cruise to Nowhere." Instead of going to Cozumel, the ship basically was destined to go nowhere. We spent 3 days at sea. No ports of call. All we got was onboard credit (wow…just fu*king wow) and a letter of apology and a discount toward a future cruise. The service sucked. The rooms sucked. Dealing with the manager on the ship was like dealing with a ghetto manager of a Motel 6 in the middle of nowhere. Because I was one of the family members that had traveler’s insurance, I got back all of my cruise fare, I got back the money for both nights in the hotel, and I got back the money I spent for the taxi to and from the cruise ship terminal. We will never go on a Carnival cruise ever again.
Do I have a leg to stand on if I decide to try to sue?

I’ve organised a trip to turkey for 15 people, all of which have travel insurance.

I was wondering if i need to have a paper copy of everyone’s insurance documents, or if i can just carry the bare minimum (insurer, policy number etc) and collate it onto a excel document
